It finally happened. The one night I do not have a spare 200 head with me.....the one I am using lays down. We were set up and waiting for the band to start and the K200B-1 on top of the 3x15 suddenly POPS......and the pop is followed by MUCHO LOUD WHITE NOISE. Volume controls and tone turned off and no change. After many attempts to restart and let it cool down....it finally stopped making any sound at all. ( played through a 100 PA head normally used for keys) I have not tried it since then. Any ideas? BC

Thanks for the reply Steven......I do not know where we would be with out you! It did not seem to be channel related. The noise was there with both channels volume turned all the way down. I turned it on later and the output was very LOW on both channels.....but at that timne the noise had gone away. So my guess is that the preamp boards are OK......and I stress it is a GUESS! BC

Yup, your right. Its not the preamps, but something on the output/ driver board.
