tremelo problem [message #1567] Thu, 30 May 2002 10:03

I have 2 200-B2 and 1 200-B4 amps, all are with the tremelo circutry. My problem is that the sound is clean with the tremelo off. But when you turn on the tremelo, and its not bad at low volume, the louder you turn up the amp, maybe 3 or 4, it starts to distort and gets muddled. I'm running a 2-15 CTS cab with one head, and a 3-12 emminence cab with the other. Is there a cap or transitor that is either worn out and overdriven, that needs to be replaced? The rest of the amp on all 3 are perfect. Thanks Bob
